# How to Join a Vintage Story Server
Learn how to connect to your Vintage Story multiplayer server using your assigned server address.

## 1. Locating Your Server Address & Port
1. Go to your server control panel at `panel.lobby-maker.com`.
2. Look at the **Address** box on the right side of the **Console** tab (e.g. `169.58.39.88:42420`).
3. Your **IP / Address** is before the colon (`169.58.39.88`), and your **Port** is after the colon (`42420`).

## 2. Connecting via Direct Connect
1. Open **Vintage Story** > **Multiplayer**.
2. Click **Add New Server**.
3. Fill in the connection fields:
* **Server Name**: Custom name for your server list.
* **Server Address**: Enter your server IP or domain name.
* **Port**: Enter the assigned port from your panel Address widget.
* **Password**: Enter password if set.
4. Click **Save**, select your server, and click **Connect**.

## 3. Connecting via Public Server List
1. Open **Vintage Story** > **Multiplayer** > **Browse Public Servers**.
2. Search for your server name (ensure `AdvertiseServer` is set to `true` in your server config).
3. Select your server and click **Join**.
