How to Join a Valheim Server

Connecting to a Valheim dedicated server can be done via the in-game server list or Steam direct connection.

1. Connecting via Valheim In-Game Browser

1. Launch Valheim. 2. Click Start Game, select your character, and click Start. 3. Select the Join Game tab. 4. Click Filter and type your server name in the search box. 5. Select your server and click Connect. 6. When prompted, enter your server password and press Enter.

2. Connecting via Direct IP Address

1. In the Join Game tab, click Join IP. 2. Type your server IP and Port (e.g. 192.168.1.100:2456). 3. Click Connect and enter the password when prompted.
